We keep refunds simple. Registration fees are generally non-refundable because the cost covers platform administration, exam hosting, and certificate issuance — incurred the moment you register. However, specific scenarios below are eligible for a full refund.
When you are eligible for a refund
- Duplicate charges: if you were charged twice for the same registration, the duplicate is refunded within 5–7 working days, automatically, to your original payment method.
- Payment processing error: if a transaction was debited but no registration was created, Razorpay's automatic reconciliation returns your money within 5–10 working days.
- Olympiad cancelled by us: in the rare event Springfield Olympiads cancels an entire Olympiad, all affected registrations receive a full refund within 10 working days.
When refunds are not available
- Change of mind after successful registration.
- Student inability to attend on exam day.
- Technical issues on the student's end (internet outage, device issue).
- Disqualification due to violation of exam conduct rules.
School / bulk registrations
Refunds for bulk registrations require written approval from the institute coordinator on record. Approved cancellations are processed pro-rata for students whose registration is cancelled at least 7 days before the exam date, minus a small administrative fee.
How to request a refund
Email support@springfieldolympiads.comwith your Razorpay order ID, registered email, and the reason for your request. We respond within 24 hours on working days.
Refund timelines
Once approved, refunds are initiated via Razorpay. Transit time to your bank/card is 5–7 working days for cards, 3–5 working days for UPI, and 7–14 working days for net banking. You will receive a confirmation email once we initiate the refund.
