Why we're rebuilding.
The existing Olympiad market in India has been stuck for 15 years. Forms get mailed, answer sheets get scanned weeks later, ranks arrive 3–6 months after the exam, certificates come by post. Parents repeat the same complaint every year — “my child took this exam in September, we're still waiting for the result in February.”
Springfield Olympiads is built for a different decade. The entire flow — registration, payment, exam, result publication, certificate delivery — happens online within 30 days. Every roll number, every rank, every certificate is verifiable via a public URL.
We started with the basics done right: modern security (no plaintext OTPs, no MD5 passwords, no SQL injection everywhere), a proper audit trail on every payment, and a mobile-first UX that doesn't look like it was designed in 2008.
